Goods Delivery

A Delivery Order is the step in the sales process where a sales order is delivered to the customer after the sales order is confirmed. Accurate delivery processing is vital for customer satisfaction and inventory control. It ensures that products are properly allocated and shipped to customers. Please follow the steps below how to create a delivery order.


Step 1 — Open existing sales order

Open an existing sales order that you want to deliver by clicking on the sales order number. This will open the sales order form where you can review the details of the sales order.


Step 2 — Delivery

Click the Delivery button to create a delivery order based on the sales order. This will allow you to track the delivery status, update inventory levels, and manage any potential product returns.

Step 3 — Validate

If the product is available in stock, the Validate button will appear with a blue background, indicating that you can confirm the delivery order. Clicking the Validate button will finalize the delivery order and update inventory levels. This step is crucial as it confirms that the products have been physically delivered to the customer.

The Delivery Address shows Seng Somaly as the customer receiving this shipment. The Operation Type is set to My Company: Delivery Orders, which defines the warehouse operation category being performed. The Source Location is WH/Stock, meaning items will be picked from the main warehouse stock. On the right side, the Scheduled Date is 24/03/2026 23:59:00, which is the planned deadline for completing the delivery. The Source Document shows New, referencing the originating sales order or transfer that triggered this delivery.

📌 Important

Before clicking Validate, ensure the Done quantity is correctly filled in. If left at 0.00, the system may prompt a warning or automatically create a backorder for the remaining quantity.


Step 4 — Apply

Click the Apply button to confirm the delivery order and update the inventory levels.

Step 5 — Verify

After applying, the delivery order status will change to Delivered. Verify that the delivery order details are correct and the inventory levels are updated accordingly.

Step 5 — View Quantity Sold

24.00 Units Sold (highlighted in red) reflects that 24 units have been sold and delivered
